You definitely don’t have to be an international superstar in order to appreciate a car that’s comfortable and relaxing to drive. Of course, if you are one, you’re probably not traveling by VW Jetta anyway, so why not sample the all-new Mercedes S-Class?

For this latest ad, Mercedes went and got Roger Federer, currently ranked no.5 in the world as of November 2020. In the clip, the Swiss tennis star uses the S-Class to unwind in-between events.

Federer isn’t the only celebrity busy promoting Mercedes’ latest flagship ever since it came out last year. You can add the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Alicia Keys to the mix.

According to every review we’ve come across, the all-new S-Class truly is a superior product when compared to its predecessor, which was already an excellent car on pretty much every level.

Pricing in the U.S. will start from $109,800, making it $15,550 more expensive to purchase than the 2020 car. The new S-Class will be offered in “three highly-equipped, strategically curated trim lines for the U.S. market to meet the needs of even the most discerning customers.”

The range kicks off with the S 500 4MATIC Luxury Line, featuring air suspension, a panoramic glass sunroof, LED lights, soft-close doors and 19-inch alloy wheels. Power comes from a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, good for 429 HP (435 PS) and 384 lb-ft (521 Nm) of torque, although the EQ Boost function adds another 21 HP.

Buyers in need of more performance can also go for the S 580 4MATIC, with a starting price of $116,300. It has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 496 HP (503 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque, plus its own EQ Boost function.

The new S-Class will arrive at U.S. dealers in the coming months.
