The E46-generation BMW M3 is considered by many to be the finest iteration of the beloved sports car and a particularly gorgeous example has hit the used car market.
This particular M3 is a 2005 model finished in Silver Grey Metallic and was first registered in Wyoming before being moved to Utah when it was acquired by the seller in 2010. Despite being 17 years old, the car has only been driven 33,000 miles (53,108 km) and is being sold with manufacturer’s literature, service records, spare parts, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller’s name.

All E46 M3s are special but the Bring a Trailer listing reveals this example is especially desirable as it has the optional Competition Package that added an upgraded steering rack and larger cross-drilled brake discs. The car also sits on 19-inch M wheels wrapped in 235/35 front and 265/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. It has also been equipped with Eibach lowering springs.
A number of changes have been made to the 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine. For example, it features underdrive pulleys, a K&N cold air intake, aftermarket engine management software, and CSL-spec exhaust headers. Coupled to this iconic engine is a six-speed manual transmission sending powering to the rear wheels.
Given how few miles the BMW has been driven, it comes as no surprise that the interior is in excellent condition. It is bathed in a combination of black leather and black Alcantara and includes automatic climate control and an audio system with a BMW Business CD stereo.
