Volkswagen enthusiasts rejoice, the automaker is introducing a range of accessories for the all-new, eighth-generation Golf GTI. It partnered with brands like Oettinger and Osram for the new parts.

Classic VW tuners Oettinger Sports Systems GmbH are back with customized body elements. These enhance the styling of the GTI’s front and rear lip valences, and add a new roof edge spoiler. All parts can be painted and installed by Volkswagen dealers or independent body shops.

Those looking for an extra-fine customization detail can also opt for “Dynamic Wheel Center Caps.” These are offered for both the Golf GTI and the Golf R and come with model-specific logos. The self-leveling center caps allow the logo to stay upright even when the wheel is spinning and they’ll become available early this year.

Finally, the automaker is offering LED Dynamic Turn Signals by Osram for the GTI. These are installed on the side mirrors and remain dark when not in use. When the turn signal is initiated, though, the light flows from the inside of the mirror to its outside edge. No special coding is necessary to install these and they can be put on your car at any VW dealership.

The GTI is our most storied enthusiast vehicle,” said Hein Schafer, Senior Vice President of Product Marketing and Strategy at Volkswagen of America. “Its owners have a history of dialing the car in to match their personality and lifestyle, and we are proud to offer a catalog of dynamic options to help them do so.”

Volkswagen also offers a full range of accessories for both the Golf GTI and the R. These include interior additions like rubber MuddyBuddy mats and carpeted Monster Mats to help protect your floors. A Bumperdillo mat protects the floor of the cargo area and will be available in late spring 2022. Owners can also buy a frameless, auto-dimming rearview mirror that is compatible with HomeLink Connect.

All are (or will be) available through parts.vw.com.
