The Infiniti Q50 returns, largely unchanged for the 2024 model year, albeit with a $400 price hike across the lineup. That means that the sporty sedan now starts at $44,200 (all prices include $1,150 destination charge).

As ever, the lineup starts with Luxe trim, which offers standard 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and leather seats that are heated up front. It also gets a heated steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay, USB-based Android Auto, an audio system from Bose, and more. For an extra $2,000, Infiniti will direct a driveshaft to the front wheels, turning it into an all-wheel-drive machine.

Next up comes the Q50 Sensory. It alters the styling slightly by adding sporty fascias front and rear, as well as black exterior accents and mirrors, as well as 19-inch wheels. Inside, occupants get open-pore wood-toned trim, integrated navigation, and an advanced climate control system with an air purifier. It also gets a Radiant Grille Emblem to help it look extra special. Pricing for the Sensory model starts at $49,900, while the AWD model starts at $51,900.

Finally, things get really sporty with the Q50 Red Sport 400. Like the others, it is powered by a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 engine, but it has been tuned to make 400 hp (298 kW/405 PS), which is 100 (74 kW/101 PS) more than its stablemates.

To rein all that power in, it gets uprated four-piston front and two-piston rear brake calipers, as well as exclusive 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and an advanced suspension system that automatically adjusts the shock absorber valves for better performance around the corners.

Once again, this model can be made even more special with the Black Opal Edition package. This adds a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and Black Opal Metallic paint. The shimmering, color-changing shade was inspired by black opals and adds $2,200 to the price of the car, which starts at $58,050 for the RWD model, and $60,050 for the AWD model.

Infiniti says that the 2024 Q50 will start arriving in showrooms this month.
