In the world of scale models, few companies create better replicas than Amalgam and the firm has just grown its array of models by two, adding 1:8 scale models of both the Lamborghini Countach LP400 and Lamborghini Revuelto.

Few Lamborghini models are as iconic as the Countach and Amalgam has left no stone unturned in making a perfect replica of it. Indeed, each of the 199 units it will build takes more than 400 hours to construct and assemble, hence why it carries with it an eye-watering £14,835 (~$18,700) price tag.

Amalgam offers its Countach LP400 in either Giallo Fly or Rosso Red and has recreated every part of the supercar, using thousands of castings, photo-etchings, and CNC-machined metal components. Some of the most impressive details of the model include the pop-up headlights, the functional scissor doors, and the miniaturized version of Lamborghini’s famed naturally-aspirated V12. The remarkable attention to detail continues into the frunk where the spare wheel is housed.

Things continue into the cabin where model’s finished in yellow have a tan-colored leather interior and fabric applied across the dashboard while red models have a cabin bathed in black leather.

Work on the Revuelto is still ongoing and it won’t be available to purchase until later this year. As such, the company has only released a few renderings of its 1:8 scale model. The standard model will cost £12,185 (~$16,400) but buyers of a life-size Revuelto will be able to commission Amalgam to produce a replica of their specification for £17,425 (~$23,500). These bespoke models will replicate every detail of the Revuelto they are based on, including the color of the interior stitching and the brake calipers. Amalgam also has access to Lamborghini’s full palette of colors.

Like the Countach LP400 model, just 199 examples of the Revuelto will be manufactured.
