Unlike the 1957 Plymouth that was buried in a time capsule in Tulsa, Oklahoma (see details here), this 1969 Chevrolet Corvair 500 has been perfectly preserved throughout all these years in storage. According to the seller, the car has only clocked up 5.9 miles from new and it has never been titled or registered.

The Corvair 500 was purchased from Butler Chevrolet on August 15, 1969 for $1,900 and it comes complete with all the original invoices, tax documents, original window sticker and keys along with a fuel tank that has never seen a drop of gas!

According to the Corsa and Corvair Society, this particular model is considered to be the lowest mileage 1969 example in existence. If you’re interested, the “Buy it Now” price on eBay is set at $25,000. While we’re no experts, considering the fact that the car remains intact and that its original price was $1,900 38 years ago, it doesn’t sound such a bad deal at all. –More images after the jump
