Project Kahn is jumping the shark on the royal wedding bandwagon with a special tune to celebrate Prince William and Kate Middleton’s big day on April 29. Traditionally, royal weddings have been marked by commemorative stamps, coins and memorabilia, but times have changed and the British aftermarket specialist’s tribute is a subtly modified Maybach 57 limousine.

The Project Kahn Maybach 57 is fitted with a “4 HRH” license plate that reads “ For His Royal Highness”. The special Maybach is finished in a bespoke pearl white color and features 22-inch Kahn RS wheels and smoked taillights.

The interior, which is hidden from curious eyes by a Pentagon privacy glass, gains a special package that includes several accessories such as a lightweight golfing umbrella with carbon fiber shaft and a Kahn key ring.

“Project Kahn understands the meaning of traveling in style and with the conversion we perform on this prestige vehicle there is no more of a stylish way to travel,” says Afzal Kahn, head of the company. “The 4 HRH number plate is worthy of befitting a vehicle such as the Project Kahn Maybach 57. And as a proud Englishman and designer, this is our way of wishing the royal couple many happy years together,” he added.

Kahn did not reveal the company’s intentions about the car, which is currently being displayed at the firm’s headquarters in Bradford. “You never know, Project Kahn’s Maybach 57 complete with the 4 HRH number plate may yet make a grand entrance in London very soon,” says the release, hinting at the fact that the car could actually make an appearance at the royal wedding.

However, that’s hard to believe as British royal family members use Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars on these occasions, but who knows; maybe Kahn will offer the Maybach special as a gift to the newlyweds…
