The refined 2011 Wrangler has only been a few months into its U.S. market introduction but Jeep is already rolling out a special editions of its rugged 4×4. The latest addition to the Wrangler range is the Mojave, which is named after the western desert Mojave Trail, and comes with unique features inside and out, including an aggressive wheel and tire package.
The new Wrangler Mojave is based on the Sport model featuring a desert theme with a body-color hardtop and fender flares, “Mojave” and lizard decals on the hood and rear, and the Sahara model’s side steps. There’s also a Wrangler Rubicon tire and wheel package, with mineral gray 17-inch wheels wrapped around 32-inch tires, plus a black fuel filler door and taillamp guards. The exterior is available in Sahara Tan, Bright White and Black hues.
Inside, the Mojave package adds dark saddle leather with a lizard logo embossed on the front seats, bespoke driftwood surrounds on the vents, front-passenger grab handle, steering-wheel spokes and door-handle inserts, along with Mopar tread pattern slush mats and overhead grab handles.
The new Wrangler Mojave will reach U.S. showrooms in June with a starting price of $29,195, excluding $750 destination fee.
