Volkswagen has launched a new range of aftermarket accessories for the Touareg SUV. Among other features, there’s a new underbody protection kit for the front and the back of the Touareg. Available in a two-tone design (black and silver), the kit promises to protect the underbody of the SUV from solid objects as well as from heavy dirt. Buyers can also opt for wide plastic protections for the wheel arches which are available either in black or in the same color as the vehicle.
The company also offers a new, larger roof spoiler with Volkswagen claiming that it improves the SUV’s aerodynamics. Touareg owners who need more cargo space can order the aluminum cross bars with embedded rubber supports, which transform the SUV’s roof into a transport platform that can accommodate a roof box or other accessories for skis, snowboards or bicycles.
Finally, Volkswagen proposes new “Dolomit” 21-inch alloy wheels featuring a five-spoke design, with each spoke being doubled by a thinner one, offering an interesting effect while in motion. All these accessories are available to order on VW’s dedicated website.
