The first ever Ferrari dealership in India opened its doors today in the heart of New Delhi. The Grand Opening, which was hosted by Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa, Ferrari Commercial and Marketing Director Enrico Galliera, and Ashish Chordia, Chairman of the Shreyans Group, the official Ferrari importer for India, was devoted to the members of the local and international press. India is the 58th country where Ferrari is present in the world.
The Italian company will offer its full range of cars including the California, 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano and the latest FF. The most affordable model is the Ferrari California, priced from 22 million rupees, which is equal to US$485,300 or €354,000, while the most expensive, the new FF that carries a 34.1 million rupee (US$752,000 or €535,000) price tag.
“Our objective was to launch the Indian market in 2011 and it ‘s a pleasure to inaugurate this first dealership here today,” said Ferrari boss, Amedeo Felisa. “We feel that this is the right moment, considering the dynamism of the country and its economy. Here in India you feel great enthusiasm and a strong connection to the Ferrari brand, which, even before officially entering India, had already around 50 clients in the country.”
The Italian supercar maker is planning to open more dealerships throughout the country in the next three years.
