We know many of you have been waiting for a while to get an acoustic flavor of the much-hyped Pagani Huayra, and now, thanks to the recordings of Youtube’s supercar buff, Marchettino, so we’ll keep this post short and sweet in the name of expediency.

Marchettino attached a video camera on the rear corner of the Huayra as the supercar made a quick lap around the Adria International Raceway, which is located the Veneto region of Northern Italy. The result? Well, let’s just say that we weren’t exactly thrilled from the sounds of the V12, but keep in mind this may be due to the poor fitting or quality of the camera.

We’ll remind you that Pagani’s newcomer and replacement for the much praised Zonda is fitted with a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 pushing out 700 horses and 664 lb-ft of torque in standard guise and 730 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque in Sport tune. The engine is based on the same V12 unit found under the hood of the Mercedes SL65 Black Series, with the German firm’s AMG division handling all the modifications which include new turbos and exhaust manifolds.
