We are not sure what Volvo is trying to tell us about its Frankfurt Motor Show-bound conceptual study by naming it Concept You, but following an announcement on Monday, the Swedish company issued a teaser video that shows bits and pieces of the car without, however, revealing it.
Volvo said the concept will showcase the firm’s upcoming four-cylinder VEA (Volvo Environmental Architecture) engine range as well as its new vehicle platform architecture called SPA (Scalable Platform Architecture), which will allow most models to be built on the same production line regardless of vehicle size and complexity.
“At the Frankfurt Motor Show we will reveal a new concept car,” said Peter Mertens, Senior Vice President Research and Development at the Volvo Car Corporation. “It proves that downsized engines can go hand in hand with our customers’ expectations on luxury and driving pleasure,” he added.
