Along with myriads of new concept and project cars, next week’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas will also see many aftermarket companies debuting numerous new vehicle components and accessories.

Jeep specialist RuggedRidge and RoadWire both revealed that they would use the SEMA Show to launch new power operated convertible tops for the JK Wrangler.

RuggedRidge’s proposal is called “Power Kit” and it fits all four-door Wrangler JK models from the 2007-2012MY. The company said that the kit comes complete with sailcloth vinyl top, power top frame, hydraulics, wiring harness and installation packet, adding that an electric-operated top for the two-door Wrangler is planned for 2012.

Owners of the two-door Wrangler JK from the 2007-2012MY that can’t wait, may want to take a look at RoadWire’s “myTop”.

The Austin, Texas based company says that the kit includes Haartz Stayfast fabric and “a sturdy, but light-weight aircraft-grade aluminum frame, as well as motors constructed to the same specifications as F-14 fighter jet canopies”. It will be available for order initially in Los Angeles and Austin, Texas, with a nationwide rollout scheduled by the end of the year.
