Nissan is sure taking its time to reveal all the juicy details surrounding its wacky Juke-R project.

After releasing the first picture of the finished product earlier this week, on Wednesday, the Japanese automaker published a new batch of images and a video shot during the fitting of the Nissan GT-R’s 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine.

We also get to learn that in the Juke-R, the R35’s powerplant will deliver a sufficient 480-horses, or as much as it did in the first model year of the GT-R.

Nissan’s engineers say that fitting the large V6 into a space that is usually taken by the Juke’s 1.6-liter unit was of the most challenging tasks of the project.

The next Juke-R video will be about the gearbox and all-wheel drivetrain.
