As usual, the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas will be crowded with plenty of one-off and accessorized vehicles from most carmakers. As a preview, the crew over at Tjin Edition have released some up skirt photos of two of the Ford models they are currently working on in partnership with the Detroit automaker.
First up is Tjin Edition’s take on the 2012 Ford Explorer. The teaser picture only provides a glimpse of the tuned crossover model, but the company has shared some initial details.
Along with the custom Dupont paint job, the Tjin Edition Explorer gains a set of custom 24-inch iForged Concave wheels wrapped around beefy Falken tires, a lowered Eichbach suspension, and large Baer brakes. A full black leather interior by LR Auto Body, a Thule bike rack, and a pair of Recaro child seats complete the upgrades.
Tjin Edition’s second Ford model is the Mustang GT 5.0 that is being developed in partnership with the students of the Universal Technical Institute (UTI). The bespoke pony car will sport a special Dupont paint job, 20-inch Forgestar wheels, Baer big brakes, a custom interior and more importantly, a Paxton Supercharger fitted on the 5.0-liter V8 engine.
Interestingly, the 2012 Tjin Edition Mustang will be given away in a UTI sweepstake with more details to be released at the SEMA show in November.
