Looking to offer BMW X6 xDrive40d owners more options for customizing their diesel-powered model, Germany’s Senner Tuning has released a new performance and styling package for the sporty crossover.
For performance purposes, Senner Tuning begins with the X6’s straight-six turbocharged diesel engine by adding a sport air filter and a remapped ECU to lift output from 306HP and 600Nm to 336-horses and 665Nm (490.5 lb-ft).
The exterior of the X6 xDrive40d is tweaked with a BMW Performance front bumper featuring larger air intakes in a honeycomb design, black kidney grilles, a rear diffuser, new tail pipes, tinted windows and a tailgate spoiler.
Massive 22-inch alloy wheels in a black finish from Hamman wrapped around in 295/30R22 Continental Sport Contact 5P tires at the front and 335/30R22 tires at the rear along with new Bilstein shocks and springs promise to improve handling while offering a sportier stance.
As for the interior, Senner Tuning has added a new sport pedal set and an infotainment system with a DVD player.
The complete tune is priced from a rather hefty €20,000 (about US$27,000).
