Brabus’ sister company Startech has decided to polish up the 2012 Jaguar XJ’s looks with a subtle styling makeover through its individualization program.
The German firm’s product lineup includes an aero package comprising of a front apron that incorporates LED daytime running lights into the side air inlets, small rocker panels in front of the rear wheels, new trims for the front fender air vents, a discreet boot lid spoiler and a rear diffuser that packs Startech’s stainless-steel trapezoid tailpipes.
The British limo now rides on three-piece, 21-inch forged alloy wheels mounted in wider high-performance tires in sizes 255/35 ZR 21 in front and 295/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle.
The cosmetic makeover continues inside with Startech offering XJ buyers a choice of leather and Alcantara options. The car pictured here features a cream-colored all-leather interior made from soft Mastik leather and black, high-gloss polished piano wood with ship-veneer-type inlays.
Other options include custom made, electrically deployed tables for the rear passengers with leather-trimmed consoles, and a 20 MBit/s GSM modem with an antenna that provides a high-speed internet connection via EDGE, HSDPA or HSPA+ protocols.
