The company’s year-to-date sales in Europe were up 10.6 percent to 1.58 million vehicles, of which 549,300 (+10.5 %) were delivered in its home market of Germany.

Notably, VW recorded a 47.5 percent increase in the Central and Eastern Europe region, where it sold 195,800 vehicles, while the brand doubled its sales in Russia to 104,200 vehicles (+100%).
