With the first Bose Edition accounting for close to 30 percent of the pre-facelift Koleos’ sales across Europe, it’s only reasonable for Renault to carry over the limited edition to the refreshed version of its compact crossover.
The highlight of the 2012 Koles Bose Edition Phase 2 is of course the audio system from Bose that has been tailor made for the Renault model.
According to the French automaker, the number, type and position of the loudspeakers were “carefully selected” by Bose engineers who also tuned the digital processors and signal equalizers in order to produce a high-quality sound for all occupants.
Audio system aside, the Koleos Bose Edition also features specific exterior styling and interior appointments including aluminium-coloured door mirror housings, extra-tinted rear glass, colored 17-inch alloy wheels, Black Lacquer interior trim details, plus mixed black fabric upholstery.
The Bose edition is offered exclusively with Renault’s 2.0-liter dCi 150 diesel engine that can be matched to one of three types of transmission: six-speed manual with front-wheel drive, six-speed manual with all-wheel drive or six-speed automatic with 4×4.
In France, prices for the new Koleos Bose Edition start from €29,400 (about US$38,100).
