Launched at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, the Chevrolet Cruze hasn’t been on the market for that long as it actually went on sale in Europe and Australia during 2009 and the U.S. and Canada in mid-2010.
That said, we were somewhat surprised to see this single scoop picture of what is claimed to be a facelifted version of the Cruze, and which was sent to the Czech website, Autoforum, by one of its readers.
The Cruze in the photo sports a re-trimmed front grille featuring thick horizontal slabs and smaller vertical slats instead of a honeycomb scheme, and a redesigned front bumper with a different lower grille and fog-lamp surrounds similar in shape to those used on the Sonic.
With only a single image on hand, we can’t say for sure if what we’re seeing here is a full blown facelift, some minor changes made for the new model year, or perhaps simply a new trim level for the European market.
Whatever the case, we’ll keep you updated with information as it becomes available.
