Not to be outdone by other carmakers releasing special edition versions of their models, Jaguar has crafted its own bespoke variants of the XK Coupe and Convertible, and XKR named Artisan SE, which will be offered in several markets around the world but not in North America.

The new special edition gets its name from the Artisan interior that introduces the use of a textured ‘scraffito’ finished leather to the front seats, instrument binnacle, door and rear quarter panels.

The cabin also benefits from Poltrona Frau leather headlinings, two new veneer finishes called Shadow Walnut and Dark Figured Aluminium, plus additional standard features including a 525W Bowers & Wilkins sound system, “16 by 16 way” adjustable heated Performance seats, a heated steering wheel and keyless entry/start.

For the exterior, Jaguar’s design team created new 20-inch alloy wheels and an exclusive paint color for the special edition models called Celestial Black. Alternatively, buyers can opt for the more mundane Polaris White and Rhodium Silver.

In Britain, on the road prices start at £77,350 for the XK Coupé and £82,500 for the XK Convertible.
