Further proof that Rolls-Royce is getting ready to revamp its entire Phantom lineup comes from our scoopsters in Europe who captured a very lightly camouflaged prototype of the Coupé model undergoing winter testing.

This will be the first facelift for the Phantom Coupé that was presented five years after the sedan version of Rolls-Royce’s flagship line in 2008.

The two-door model will sport similar changes to the standard and extended wheelbase Phantom sedans, including some tweaking of the headlamp and front grille designs and possibly the tail lamps and rear bumper.

We haven’t managed to scoop any photos of the cabin yet, but we do expect some subtle upgrades to the Phantom Coupé’s interior design as well as its technological features to keep up with the times.

Also, the BMW Group will most likely look to make improvements to the drivetrain to reduce the V12 engine’s fuel consumption and lower CO2 emissions.
