A passing car hit Florida highway patrol officer Daniel Morley while he was talking to another driver on the emergency lane last Thursday.
The dramatic incident was caught on film by the trooper’s dashboard mounted camera and was released to the public to highlight the fact that drivers should or rather are required by law to move one lane over when they spot emergency personnel on the shoulder of a roadway.
Luckily, Morley only suffered minor injuries from his narrow escape with the passenger car, according to WPTV News. You can watch the footage from the incident in the video below the break.
