We all know that Hyundai and its sister company Kia have been on a roll these past few years introducing one vehicle after the other and constantly increasing their sales footprint in markets all around the world.

So it shouldn’t come to as a shock that Hyundai is poised to break its all-time record for monthly sales volume in the U.S. in March, even though we still have a few more days left.

According to the South Korean automaker, its March sales in the United States will surpass 65,000 vehicles, which accounts to an increase of more than 5 percent over March 2011 when it sold 61,873 cars, setting a new all-time monthly record for the company.

“March is shaping up to be our best sales month ever,” said Dave Zuchowski, Hyundai Motor America’s executive vice president of national sales.

“We expect to sell 50 percent more of our 40-mpg highway vehicles than we sold in March 2011 as customers recognized that Hyundai is the place to shop for the best selection of high mileage cars” he added.
