With spring weather comes the opening of BMW’s Museum tours that offer participants the opportunity to explore the city of Munich and the Bavarian automaker’s facilities in a selection of vintage and classic cars.
BMW‘s sightseeing tours begin on April 22 and last until October 2012. Each tour is carried out in either vintage models from the 1930s, such as the BMW 326 Convertible and BMW 335 Convertible, or 1950s classics like the BMW 502, and last for about three hours.
The classic cars set out from the BMW Museum and head to the BMW Welt and onto the large vehicle delivery platform, which is normally reserved for buyers. The next stop is the Bavarian firm’s plant that produces the new 3-Series and from there, the trip continues to the BMW Group Classic’s historic vehicle collection.
Guests are then chauffeured to the current exhibition at the BMW showroom at Lenbachplatz before they return back to the museum where they are presented with a certificate of participation, a gift box and an admission ticket to the BMW Museum together with a Museum guide.
The price for the tour is €120 (about US$158 / GBP 99) per person. For more details, you can call BMW at +49 (0)89-125-016001.
