After Jaguar itself admitted the relationship between the C-X16 Coupe Concept that was displayed at last year’s Frankfurt motor show and the firm’s upcoming F-Type roadster, it was only a matter of time before someone put their photoshop skills to work.
In our case, that someone happens to be a Carscoop reader that goes by the alias ‘Plattform’ in our comments section.
While some shapes and styling details on the body appear to be toned down on the F-Type that was teased by Jaguar through a handful of photos and a video of a prototype model clad in a stylized camouflage, our reader’s roadster chop of the C-X16 study doesn’t seem far from reality.
The British brand said that it intends to launch the F-Type two-seater sports car onto the market next year, offering it with “a range of petrol engines, including a new powerplant family”.
Thanks to ‘Plattform’ for the rendering!
