Imagine driving on a quiet street at low speeds when of all a sudden, without any warning or another car involved, your vehicle goes flying into the air.
Crazy as it may sound, this is what happened to a driver of a Land Rover Freelander earlier today in the Russian resort city of Sochi, which by the way, will host the 2014 Olympics Winter Games…
If you watch the first video that was shot from a dash mounted camera on a following vehicle (don’t take into consideration the date, it’s wrong), you’ll be inclined to believe that the SUV fell into an uncovered sewage hole on the road causing it to flip over.
But that’s not the case as a second clip sourced from a security camera (you can’t do anything these days without being watched…) shows that the sewage hole was partially and dare we say, sloppily covered with a metal mesh frame. From what we understand, the metal frame must have popped up and wedged itself on the British vehicle hurling it into the air.
At least the driver managed to walk out of the vehicle alive with a little help of some by passers.
