German tuning firm SpeedART wasted no time in prepping a new line of accessories for the third generation of the Porsche Boxster only about a month after it arrived in European dealerships and a couple of months before it goes on sale in North America and other parts of the world.
Due to launch this summer, SpeedART’s SP81-R package for the new Boxster bundles an assortment of styling accessories with various performance parts.
Visually, the tuner enhances the exterior of the roadster with a front apron, side skirts, a new rear diffuser, a boot wing and matte black applications for the hood, side air vents and front bumper.
A set of 20- or 21-inch forged alloy wheels available in different colors work with a lowering kit to complete the new look.
For the interior, SpeedART said it will offer numerous customizations options, such as a variety of decorative trims and upholstery.
A new titanium exhaust system with sport-catalysts and manifolds (optionally combined with a sound switch function) and a software upgrade will increase the output of the flat-six engine in both the Boxster and Boxster S by 20hp and 20Nm.
Finally, SpeedART says there are different sport suspensions for street and race track use available, as well as an airlift suspension that raises the front end of the car to clear ramps and speed bumps.
