Bentley wants to take advantage of the momentum it enjoyed last year in Russia where its deliveries increased by 45 percent making it the best-selling luxury car brand in the country, by establishing a new exclusive sales company.
The British automaker says that Bentley Russia reflects the company’s plans to strengthen and expand its presence in the Russian market, attracting new clientele and enhancing the brand experience for existing owners of its cars.
“We believe that there are major opportunities for Bentley to expand our market and increase sales in Russia,” says Guenter Behringer, Head of Bentley Russia.
“For us, it’s important that we maintain the loyalty of existing clients and, of course, attract new ones and that is partly about expanding our regional presence,” he added.
Bentley noted that its two official dealers in Moscow and Saint Petersburg will continue their current operation with Mercury, while its Russian arm will expand to new locations.
The VW Group-owned company will display its full line-up including the new Continental GT V8 and the Bentley Mulsanne with the new Executive Interior Specification (EIS) at the upcoming 2012 Moscow Motorshow that runs from 30 August to 9 September.
