The German tuners at CDC International have launched a new sub brand called CDC Performance, the first product of which is based on the Maserati Quattroporte with a comprehensive styling and performance package.
Even though CDC Performance makes no mention of it in its press release, as pointed out by the team over at GT Spirit, the exterior body kit is likely sourced from Japanese tuning firm Wald International (see photos below).
CDC Performance’s version of the Black Bison kit that includes a new front bumper with a lip spoiler and LED lights, side skirts, a rear apron with a diffuser, roof and boot lid spoilers and new mirrors all trimmed in carbon fiber, are combined with a red finish for the body.
Other details include the black finish for the front grille and the 22-inch wheels that are wrapped in tires size 295/25-22 on the rear and 245/30-22 on the front axle.
The interior of the Quattroporte has been extensively reworked with black leather that is contrasted by red seams and piping, a carbon fiber decorative trim kit, new seat belt covers, handles and switchgear plus a revised instrument panel finished in red and black.
Performance upgrades include the development of a twin-compressor system with an intercooler for the V8 engine and a custom exhaust system that bump output to 572hp (580PS) and 570Nm (420 lb-ft). CDC Performance says the upgrades allow the Maserati to make the run to 100km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds and top out at just under 300km/h (186mph).
The Maserati Quattroporte also benefits from a high-performance brake system with 12 piston calipers in conjunction with 405x36mm 2-piece brake discs at the front and 4-piston calipers working with 380x34mm 2-piece brake discs at the rear, plus a height adjustable sports suspension system
