A dragster model that was created by Nicolas Brunet and which is fitted with a race-tuned 2.0-liter GM Ecotec engine has allegedly set a new world record for a four-cylinder racecar completing the quarter-mile run in 6.71 seconds with an exit speed of 207mph (333km/h) at the Napierville Dragway in Canada.
We can’t confirm the world record claim but it’s certainly one of the fastest cars to hit the drag strip. Check out its quarter mile runs in the videos you’ll find right past the break.
Thanks for the tip Martin B.!
