Even in factory trim, the new Twizy is by far the quirkiest production model in Renault’s range – and how could it not be with its electric powertrain, diminutive dimensions, a tandem seat layout and Lamborghini-style scissor doors.
While it hasn’t been in the market long enough to know if consumers are willing to spend more money to customize the Twizy, German tuning firm and Renault specialist Elia is giving it a go by working on a package that will be released at a later date.
Elia is previewing its customization accessories for the Twizy through two images that show the French EV sporting red accents inside and out while riding on a lowered suspension and a new set of alloy wheels wrapped in very low profile tires.
