The 2013 model year brings a raft of changes and upgrades to Infiniti’s U.S. lineup, the most important being the introduction of the new FX37 and EX37 with a more powerful engine, and the company’s decision to discontinue the G25 sedan.
We’ll start with the 2013 FX37 and EX37 that will replace the 2012 FX35 and EX35 in July and August respectively.
Like their European counterparts, both crossovers swap the 3.5-liter V6 engine that produced 297hp and 253 lb-ft in the EX35 and 303hp and 262 lb-ft in the FX37 for a larger displacement 3.7-liter V6 rated at 325-horsepower.
The G25 sedan featuring a 218HP 2.5-liter V6 was introduced in the States in September of 2010, but evidently wasn’t a success with customers as Infiniti will stop offering the model in December.
