Ever since Kia dropped the top on the Soul’ster Convertible Concept at the 2009 NAIAS in Detroit, the Koreans have been reassuring us that they are contemplating the launch of a production model.

As recently as this past February, Kia said that the Soul cabriolet is “currently under final assessment for production”. We shall see.

For now, we can show you what a full-blown Soul Convertible could look like thanks to an artsy design concept created as part as Kia’s sponsorship of a fashion show titled “La Vie En Rose”, which took place in Seoul, Korea, at the end of May.

Among the many Soul art cars designed and decorated by Korea’s very first female fashion designer Nora Noh, who held her first fashion exhibition back in 1956, was a Convertible variant, more pictures of which you can find in the gallery after the break.
