Leave it to Lumma Design to take a rather understated sports coupe like the BMW M6 F12 and transform it into something that looks like it would feel right at home racing at the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters or German Touring Car Masters in English).
Then again, looks can be deceiving as Lumma Design’s tuning program for the M6 Coupe is strictly cosmetic, at least for the time being.
Available from the end of the year, the CLR styling package encompasses a full aero body kit with a protruding front spoiler and large air inlets, carbon fiber engine housing, wheel arch extensions on all four corners, a rear diffuser with a central double-pipe exhaust and a large rear wing affixed to the boot.
There’s also a new set of 21-inch alloy wheels shod in low profile performance tires.
Those that don’t mind some color inside can opt for Lumma Design’s interior package that dresses the M6’s cabin in leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber with the buyer having an almost unlimited choice of shades.
The German tuning brand said that customized vehicles will be shipped from early 2013.
