These are the latest spy pictures of the next generation Renault Clio hatchback, to be revealed at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show this September before it goes on sale initially in Europe by the end of the year and other markets around the world shortly after.
This time, Renault’s engineers had stripped away some of the camouflage affording us a new look at the car’s front and rear lights as well as the hidden rear-door handles.
Notably, at the front, we see that the French firm has integrated the LED running lights into the newly styled front grille with the larger Renault logo, which was first seen on several concept models like the DeZir Coupe, Frendzy MPV, and Captur small crossover before making it into production on the Zoe EV.
The Clio 4 will enter the market with Renault’s newest downsized turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, including a 0.9-liter turbocharged three-cylinder petrol unit producing 89hp (90PS) and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine with around 115-horses.
A range-topping RS model that will follow the presentation of the regular models is rumored to be offered with a new 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine delivering more than 200-ponies.
