Local authorities in Scotland have released video footage of a woman driver ramming into a pedestrian and then taking him for a wild ride through the crowded streets of Falkirk, a town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland.
The incident took place in June last year with a judge this week sentencing the 37-year old driver of the Ford Focus hatchback, Suzanne Gilchrist, to jail for four years and three months, according to a report from the UK’s Express.
While lawyers for Suzanne Gilchrist, mother of one, claimed that, she thought she was pregnant and was “suffering hormonal imbalance” when she hit 22-year-old Stuart Morris, prosecutor Emma White told the court that she was driving away from a security officer from a nearby mall who wanted to speak to her about an alleged theft
As you can see in the video that was obtained by the Telegraph and which follows below, Morris jumped on the car’s hood after the woman would not stop.
Gilchrist then drove for about 350 yards with Morris clinging to the bonnet before the security guard caught up with her at a traffic light and turned off the engine.
Morris suffered only minor injuries.
