From the looks of things, over the next few days and perhaps even weeks, Mazda will be previewing the upcoming replacement for the Mazda6 with a series of videos, each showing a different section of the car.
Following on from the first clip on Monday that showed the new Mazda6’s front grille and part of the headlamp assembly, the Japanese carmaker dropped a second teaser on Friday that covers the heavily sculpted front fenders, the A-pillars and door mounted mirrors.
Mazda’s chief designer Akira Tamatani characterizes this view as “Well-toned, lean muscles that firmly hug the road”.
What Mazda is trying to say and show with these videos is the close resemblance between last year’s Takeri design study and the new Mazda6, which will make its first public outing at the Paris Motor Show in September.
