The civilian version of the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), colloquially known as the Humvee, and for many, the ultimate Hummer, the H1 is no doubt an imposing vehicle.
Nonetheless, something tells us that most of you will be looking for a different adjective to describe the heavily modified 1999 Hummer H1 we found for sale on eBay.
The pictures speak for themselves with the so-called “Widebody Slantnose” conversion adding a softer looking fascia full of curves and a new design for the roof and rear end along with wheel arch extensions (we’ll remind you that the standard model is 86.5 inches or 2,197mm wide…)
There’s a whole lot going on the H1’s interior as well with custom appointments and features such as an array of screens / cameras and an audio system.
The eBay seller says that while more than $250,000 (€207,000) was invested in building the H1, the asking price is “just” $79,900 (€65,000).
