Whenever you compete in a race and as much as any driver would like to avoid it, there is always the possibility that something might go wrong and you end up leaving your vehicle in shambles.
Which is precisely what happened to a driver of what appears to be a fairly stock Lamborghini Gallardo during a recent racing event called ‘Formula GT500 Copa’ that took place in Medellin, the second largest city in the Republic of Colombia.
The Gallardo driver lost control of the high-powered Italian supercar, which started squirming like a snake on the road until it t-boned a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 that was coming from behind.
And while the Lamborghini was quickly pronounced dead (or so to speak), the Shelby GT500 just continued in the race as if nothing really happened!

Update: We discovered new footage of the accident including a video shot from a roof mounted camera on the Shelby GT500
