Germany’s premium carmakers have plenty of new cars in store for us in the coming months including the all-new Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG and the Audi RS5 Convertible, both of which were speculatively imagined by Khalil Bouguerra from Virtuel-Car.

Beginning with the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, the rendering suggests that the hot hatch will sport a new front bumper with air-outlets and elongated LED light bars on either corner along with side skirts and black alloy wheels.

We’re not sure, however, about the twin-bar grille as our spy shots have shown the AMG prototypes fitted with a single bar grille.

In June, Mercedes-Benz confirmed the A45 AMG will debut in the first quarter of 2013 and that the hot hatch will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine delivering 330hp (335PS) and “maximum torque significantly above 400 Nm (295 lb-ft)”.

“Our goal is to build the most dynamic, most powerful and at the same time most efficient four-cylinder series production compact car,” commented Mercedes-Benz board chairman Ola Källenius.

The brand with the star also tells us that the A45 AMG will be fitted with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission with dual clutch technology and a “performance-oriented” all-wheel drive system.

Other highlights include the AMG sports suspension with independently developed front and rear axles, electromechanical AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, AMG high-performance braking system and 3-stage ESP with “SPORT Handling” mode.

The second rendering depicts the upcoming Audi RS5 Convertible, which we initially revealed through a set of patent images.

The soft-top model will make use of the same powertrain found on the facelifted RS5 Coupe and which includes a 444hp (450PS / 331kW) 4.2-liter V8 matched to a seven-speed S tronic transmission with a launch control program transferring power to all four wheels through Audi’s quattro system.

While the RS5 Coupe is scheduled for U.S. launch later this year, we do not know if Audi also plans to bring the convertible version.
