Last week, Renault told us that it would blow the covers off the new Clio MK4 on Tuesday, July 3, but Carscoop reader Zed S. has already discovered the first official image of the French carmaker’s supermini lurking on one of the company’s public websites in Europe.

With the fourth generation Clio Renault brings its new and more distinct design language previewed through a series of concept models like the Captur crossover, the Frendzy MPV and to some extent, even the Alpine A110-50, to the masses and the highly popular European B-segment.

The Clio’s body comes wrapped in a sheetmetal full of curves and creases with comparatively large headlamps, slabs of chrome under the windows and above the side skirts while it also features hidden rear-door handles for a more dynamic and sportier look.

We don’t have any pictures of the interior yet, but Renault insiders have said in the past that the new Clio’s cabin will sport higher-quality materials and have a more defined and emotional design.

We’ll have full details and an analysis on the Clio Mk4 tomorrow.
