Situated in the heart of the British Isles between Great Britain and Ireland, the Isle of Man became world famous for the International Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle racing event.

It is here that Automobile Magazine’s Jason Cammisa took the Subaru BRZ rear-wheel drive sports coupe for a spin in the latest episode of The Downshift.

The real good stuff, however, comes when Cammisa jumps into the passenger seat of a rally prepped BRZ driven by none other than British Rally Champion Mark Higgins, who happens to hold the world record for a production car at the Isle of Man TT with a stock, U.S.-spec Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

No question, we would have preferred more driving scenes (especially with Higgins) and less show and tell from the host, but don’t take our word for it, check out the video for yourself right past the jump.
