It may look like a German airport taxi sponsored by Frankfurter Würstchen, but underneath the tacky appearance of this Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Wagon tuned by Wimmer RS is a true-blue sports car.
In factory guise, the C63 AMG Wagon has a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that churns out 457-horses and 600Nm (442 lb-ft) of peak torque.
Wimmer RS has prepared a raft of mechanical upgrades that among other things, include new cylinder heads, sport cam shafts, modified throttle, custom exhaust and catalyst, and a software optimization, which all help to bump output to 615Hp (624PS).
That’s makes the C63 AMG Wagon far more powerful than supercars like the Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, both of which make do with 562hp (570PS).
Other go-fast features include a club sport suspension from KW, which was specifically tailored for this model by KW automotive, spacers from H & R, as well as a limited slip differential from the Drexler Company.
A set of 19-inch aluminum wheels from BBS wrapped in Dunlop high-performance tires are also part of the package, while the yellow wrap comes courtesy of a company named ‘BRUXSAFOL’.
