Alfa Romeo is expanding its MiTo and Giulietta offerings in Britain with the addition of a new trim grade named “Sportiva”.
In the MiTo supermini, the Sportiva builds on the Distinctive trim adding a host of features with Alfa Romeo claiming that customers benefit from £1,500 worth of option upgrades for just £750 more OTR.
These include bespoke 18-inch Quadrifoglio Verde alloy wheels, sports kick plates, and Sportiva badges for the outside, and darkened headlining, matte black steering wheel inserts that accompany a black leather steering wheel and handbrake, and black Alcantara sport seat upholstery with green stitching for the cabin.
The MiTo Sportiva is available with three engine options including the 0.9-liter TB TwinAir 85 bhp (£16,100 OTR), 1.4 TB MultiAir 135bhp (£17,000 OTR) and the 1.6 JTDM-2 120bhp (£17,750 OTR).
Moving on to the Giulietta, the Sportiva versions are based on the Veloce trim, adding larger red Brembo brake callipers mounted inside 18-inch spoke design alloy wheels with a dark titanium finish, leather sport seats, plus a rear armrest with storage compartment and sport kick plates.
Alfa says that new Sportiva trim gives the customer “£3,000 worth of luxury upgrades for an additional cost of just £1,860 OTR”.
The Giulietta Sportiva is offered with a choice of six engines starting at £23,110 OTR for the 1.6 JTDM-2 105bhp.
