One of the worst things that can happen to a driver on a highway is to lose control of a vehicle under bad road / weather conditions caused by heavy rain, ice or snow, as most of the times, there is not much you can really do, especially when travelling at high speeds.

That said, one should not tempt their fate and the laws of physics like this driver of a current generation BMW M3 Coupe who though it would be a cool idea to stomp on the gas pedal and swiftly change lanes while it was pouring rain.

We have no idea if the driver had deactivated the electronic safety systems, though there’s so much they can do to help you out under these conditions.

In any case, the German sports car slid across the road (luckily avoiding the camera-equipped vehicle) and hit the median, which catapulted the M3 into the air before rolling over and crashing down. The person who uploaded the video says no one was hurt, but we would take that comment with a grain of salt.
