Hyundai has announced U.S. pricing for one of the two available variants of its new Santa Fe series that comprises a regular five-seater model named Santa Fe Sport in North America, and a 7-seater version with an extended wheelbase known simply as the Santa Fe.
More specifically, the Korean company released pricing for the 2013 Santa Fe Sport that starts at $24,450 excluding an $825 delivery and handling fee (*D&H) for the entry-level front-wheel drive model with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that’s rated at 190hp and which delivers an estimated 23mpg city, 33mpg highway and 26mpg combined.
If you want more power under your right foot, the 2013 Santa Fe Sport is also available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that generates 264hp and 269 lb-ft and which returns an estimated 22mpg city, 31mpg highway and 25mmpg combined. The front-wheel drive turbocharged model starts at $27,700, again not including D&H.
All 2013 Santa Fe Sport models are equipped with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission, while AWD is offered on all variants for a $1,750 premium.
The 2.4-liter engine models come equipped with standard 17-inch wheels, Hill-start Assist Control and Downhill Brake Control, front, side, curtain and driver’s knee airbags, LED brake and headlight accents, remote keyless entry system with alarm, power windows and doors, air-conditioning, and a 6-speaker audio system with Bluetooth hands free.
In addition, the 2.0-liter Turbo models get 19-inch wheels, push button start, electroluminescent gauge cluster with color LCD trip computer, and chrome exhaust pipes.
