For more than five decades, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and its predecessors have defined the luxury car segment in many ways, from the technological advancements to their styling.
That’s not to say you won’t find the occasional odd looking example, like these two S-Class models.
The first one is the W212 series S500 Golden Edition, which was filmed by Carscoop reader Toldi at the company’s global training center in Stuttgart, Germany. If we’re not mistaken, the chrome-gold-wrapped S-Class was used to transfer celebrities at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival.
The second model is a monster-truck version of one of the classiest looking S-Class models in history, the W126 series designed under the direction of famed Mercedes-Benz designer Bruno Sacco. We’re pretty sure that this isn’t what Sacco had in mind when drawing the elegant lines of the W126…
