If you are planning to rob any banks and make a quick highway getaway in Romania in the near future, don’t. The country’s highway patrol division just received a 510bhp XFR.

Like we’ve seen before, the Romanian boys in blue get all the cool toys. A 350bhp Lotus Evora S was given to them last year making it their fastest police car ever. Now, the new XFR comes into the station as their most powerful car ever.

The 2010 XFR features a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 capable of the aforementioned 510bhp for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of only 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).

This overly luxurious police car came courtesy of local Jaguar importer Premium Auto and will give the Romanian highway police six months of duty with an approximate patrol of 9,000-12,000 miles (15,000-20,000 km) over the A1, A2 and A3 highways.
