About a month ago, Bentley showed a Mulsanne Convertible Concept to a select few at the 2012 edition of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The automaker did not allow anyone to take pictures and simply told us about the special unveiling sharing a few sketches in the process.
The reason why Bentley is holding back remains a mystery but it may have something to do with all the negative press it received with the EXP 9 F SUV Concept.
In any case, the Volkswagen Group-controlled company said that over the next few months, it will continue to show the car to the people that matter – that’s not you or me, but prospective buyers that can afford such an expensive model.
However, if the car gets a thumbs up, it’s almost certain that the concept will make a public debut at an international motor show.
In the meantime, for those of you that weren’t satisfied with the drawings and would like to see what a Mulsanne Convertible looks like in real life, here’s a CGI from French artist Khalil Bouguerra.
